Our Story

deBláca jewellery, was founded by artist Mairead deBláca. Irish design and art is in her veins, her great grandaunt taught at the Cork Crawford Art Collage. Growing up in Cork, Mairead was steeped in history, art and culture. Her piece Large Yellow Flower, was the inspiration for her jewellery range. After so many friends and family commented that you could pick the flower from the canvas and wear it, deBláca jewellery was born.

In year one Mairead was awarded the Dublin City Local Enterprise Office, Women's Network's Rising Star. In 2016 she was short listed in the Bank of Ireland Start up awards and in 2017 she was awarded the National Bronze prize. She also was shorted listed for the Irish Country Magazine Made Awards. She continues to be inspired by the rhythm of Ireland.

We create gold and silver jewellery that is elegant, simple and beautiful. Each piece of jewellery is seen as a piece of art and can be worn from day into night.
