County Premier Junior A Hurling Championship Group 2 Round 4
Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-19 Crecora/Manister 2-18
This was our second win of the championship, this games was played down in Sean Finn’s Park, Rathkelae, in very fine conditions, on last Friday night, at the break Crecora/ Manister led by 0-11 to 0-8 and then in the second half we outscored them by 2-11 to 2-07 with our goals coming from Damien Burke and Brian Ahern and our scores on the night came from: Keith Lacey (0-14, 7f, 1 65m) Damien Burke (1-2), Brian Ahern (1-0), Killian Cahill (0-1), Adam O’Kelly (0-1), James Molyneaux (0-1). The table reads as follows after the fourth round: Caherline 8 points (+29), Doon 6 points (+21), Dromcollogher/ Broadford 4 points (-11) Crecora/ Mainster 4 points (+16), Kilteely/ Dromkeen 2 points (-12), St. Patrick’s no points (-43). Crecora/ Manister scored the first two points of the game coming from Oisin Byrne and Conor Kirby and then Keith Lacey of Dromcollogher/ Broadford replied with a pointed free to leave a point between the sides. Conor Kirby of Crecora/Manister and Keith Lacey of Dromcollogher/Broadford exchanged points to leave a point between the sides and then Crecora/Manister scored the next three points of the game with two of these points coming from Cathal O’Neill and the other point came from Chirs Shanahan to leave four points between the sides. This was a very high scoring game with goals galore, played down in Ballinagarry, on last Wednesday night, at the break we lead by 1-16 to 1-09 with our goal coming from Micheál O’Kelly and then in the second half we scored Dromin/ Athalacca/ Banogue by 2-13 to 3-07 with our goals coming from Micheál O’Kelly and Tiernan O’Flynn to book our place in the final against Newcastle West, date to be confirmed.
Colin Burke of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the first point of the game and then Dromin/ Athlacca replied with a point to bring sides back on level terms for the first time during the game. Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw:
The following are the results of the lotto draw that took place on the 07-09-26, and the numbers drawn were: 11, 16, 24, 32. There was no winner of the jackpot at €4,300 and there was one winner at €100 and that was: Con Noonan and the two lucky dips of €50 each were Sean Buckley and Christine Lacey and the next draw will take on this coming Monday September 14th, and the jackpot is going up to €4,400 and match three staying at €100.
