Founded in 1985 by a handful of people we now have more than 200 members. Enda's Sports Complex, in Limerick, with about 30 athletes. This was followed that summer by the first "Hell of the West" triathlon, where approx. 40 athletes came from far and wide to Kilkee's East End, to compete in the grueling triathlon, and dance the night away in the Atlantic Hotel. Every year we organise a Duathlon, t

he Joey Hannan Memorial Triathlon and the Hell of the West Triathlon in Kilkee which has evolved from a 40-athlete race to one of several hundred! New members are always welcome. We offer training sessions to cater for all abilities, which change seasonally - check out the training timetable on our website for the most up-to-date information.

A massive congratulations to Owen, Ed, Paul, Elmer & Mike who took on one of the toughest races on the Ironman circuit this weekend! 🔥

From the winds to the relentless climbs and heat, every athlete showed incredible grit, determination, and resilience out on the course. Crossing that finish line is an achievement to be hugely proud of👏🏼

A special mention to Michael O’Flaherty, who unfortunately had a crash early on the bike course and was unable to continue. Wishing Michael a speedy recovery and we’ve no doubt he’ll be back stronger than ever💪🏼
