🏆💙🤍 🏆Cup Winners 🏆💙🤍🏆

Massive congratulations to Barrow Rangers U17 team who were cup winners of the Thomastown GAA Club Tournament in memory of Bridie & Jimmy Farrell today.

The boys were unbeaten in the first 3 group games against, Clara, Mount Leinster Ranger and Rower Inistioge, led by our captain Dan Lawlor we rolled onto the cup 1/4 Final.

In the 1/4 final we had a tight encounter with Tullaroan and went on to meet the mighty Ballyhale Shamrocks in the semi finals, the boys got the better of them in the second half and didn’t look back to push on for the win

This then set up a final with Dunamaggin where our boys were victorious and came away with the cup.

Well done to Jack Bolger who was crowned player of the tournament overall and to Gary McHugh who was player of the match in the cup final.

Well done also to the management team today of Ken, Mikey, Kieran and Murt

For the €1,000 prize winners, please send Pat Drea (087 786 0515) a private message to arrange transfer of your prize directly to your bank account.

All €100 prizes will be distributed through the respective clubs.

Barrow Rangers GAA club would like to pass on its condolence's to Paddy Purcell, his sister Julia and his mother Breda on the passing of Tommy Purcell.

Reposing at his home Viewmount, Paulstown, Co. Kilkenny. (R95 X3P0) on Saturday from 12.noon to 7.pm, with Funeral Prayers at 6.30pm.

Funeral Mass on Sunday at 2.pm in the Church of the Assumption Paulstown, followed by burial in the Holy Family Cemetery.
