Some unreal progress lately with one of my online clients here! πŸ”₯

She's been putting in some great work and it's showing through. Mains aims have been to improve body comp and build strength which is being nailed.

Training hard, smart and fuelling with adequate calories each week. None of this poverty calorie stuff. She works a job that has her on the road and away from home a lot meaning there does be a few meals that have to be eaten out so rigid tracking of calories 100% of the time was never going to work so we've been working on making smarter food choices throughout the weeks and using hunger and fullness cues to keep on top of those days of where we can't have total control of what she's eating for the day. Then the days that we can we work off of calorie tracking.

Was important to work all this into her daily life as opposed to working her daily life around the plan

Looking forward to keeping this going, been great to see the progress!

We've got some more brilliant progress coming in from one of my in person coaching clients. Absolutely mad difference here over 10 weeks.

This block has been a pleasure to work through together. Each week strength has been on the rise and she is definitely at the strongest she's been all while making massive body composition changes.

As always, striking the right balance between calories and activity was important but for a while we had been doing that and not seeing the progress we had been hoping for. Check ins were coming in with odd weight fluctuations, bloating and with visible water retention.

So we took a step back and instead of prioritizing calorie quantity we focused on calorie quality. One quick look through her food log and we could see that yes, the calories were being hit but where these calories we're coming from weren't the best options. Low calories options for sure but very processed, lacking micronutrients and very high in salt. So our goal from there shifted to setting aside a small bit of time early in the week to batch cook some meals that were minimally processed, full of colour and high in protein to be had each day and taken to work and within one week the benefits were showing. Where you're getting your calories from is equally as important as how many you are getting when it comes to fat loss.
