Ultra-Flex Academy of Dance is an award-winning dance school and is the creator of the FlexYoStyle dance teaching method. We teach children from 3-17yrs and also adults who wish to become professional dance teachers. We are very proud to say we are over 25yrs years in business and offer exceptional service and a unique dance class experience.

Our Ultraflex Christmas Star Dance Awards will take place on:

📍 Loughrea Hotel & Spa

Please note that this is the updated date, replacing the previously provisional date of 15th November.

For families who are new to our school and haven’t attended this event before, please don’t worry about anything at this stage. We’ll provide a full rundown of what the Christmas Star Dance Awards involve over the coming weeks.

Acro Training for Dancers — it’s more than tricks! 💗
Some dancers can feel nervous about Acro Dance because they think it will be all about difficult tricks, flips or extreme flexibility—but there is so much more to it.
Acro training helps dancers develop:
✨ Flexibility
✨ Strength and control
✨ Better technique and alignment
✨ Confidence in movement
✨ Stronger performance skills
Dancers work at their own level, building their skills gradually in a safe and encouraging environment. They don’t need to be naturally flexible or interested in performing complicated tricks to benefit.

We are absolutely delighted to share that Ultraflex Academy of Dance has been selected as an Official Finalist at Dance Awards Ireland® 2026 for:

After the incredible honour of winning at the Awards in 2025, it means so much to be recognised again this year. 💗

A huge thank you to everyone who nominated and supported Ultraflex. This recognition belongs to our whole community — our amazing teachers, wonderful students and the families who support us week after week.

We are so proud of everything we continue to build together and very excited to be heading back to the Dance Awards Ireland Gala at the Mansion House, Dublin, this October! ✨
