Galway City Jobs Club The Jobs Club was established to assist Job Seekers (in receipt of a Job Seekers Allowance) gain the assistance they may need in their job search.

The Galway Jobs Club aims to assist people in receipt of Jobs Seekers Allowance or Benefit in their search for employment. Jobs Club Course Outline:

The Jobs Club is a 3 week programme, which runs from 9.30-12.30, Monday to Thursday
Fridays are to meet each participant on a individual basis to assist with individual job search needs. Each Jobs Club has between 12-15 participants. During the 3 we

ek course the participants gain more self confidence as they update their skills and interact with other people in similar situations. The participants are encouraged to look at their career directions, what options are there for them and to set achievable work related goals. Part of the course is also training orientated with handouts provided and questions being asked. This part of the course is designed for participants to refresh/update or gain job hunting skills. Each Jobs Club varies in this area depending on the level of skills the participants already have.
