Alongside 4Hoops, I had the opportunity to head coach my U16 Sligo squad in Nottingham!
The girls have worked so hard this summer, putting in two-a-day practices over the last couple of weeks to get ready for the season ahead. They came hungry and competed from the first game to the last, finishing the tournament 5-1, with our only loss coming by 6 points to the 4Hoops Select squad in a tight game🙏🏽
Having both my 4Hoops and Sligo teams make the final was a pretty unique experience but made for a great game and a fun memory to have with the girls😆
Off the court, we got to watch Nottingham Forest, do karaoke, arcades and finishing with an ice hockey game. After the summer of work, the girls deserved every bit of it🖤
So thankful to Fergal Kelly for keeping everything running smooth and listen to me give out😭 and to Inês Jesus , for taking care of the girls all week!!
So proud of this group and everything they’ve put in. I promised them the hard work wouldn’t go unnoticed, and slowly but surely, people are going to figure it out🖤🧡
