Results Day 1 Louth Juvenile Track and Field Championships

Well done to all our Glenmore AC athletes who competed in Day 1 of the Louth Juvenile Track and Field Championships with many athletes trying out some of the more technical events of track and field for the first time and acquitting themselves very well. Several athletes medalled in multiple competitions; a demonstration of their fitness and ability to switch between codes. A series of personal bests were also recorded on which the athletes can build for the rest of the season.

Next Saturday sees Day 2 of the Louth Juvenile Track and Field Championships with U9-U19 athletes taking part in sprint and distance races (U9-U19), turbo javelin (U9-U12), long jump (U9-11; U14-U15) high jump (U12-U13; U17 & U19) and shot putt (U15-U16; U17 & U19). Another action packed day ahead.
