NEXT GENERATION IS HERE! 🧡🖤
We’re incredibly excited to launch Cherry Orchard Running Club , Next Generation 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
We already have a fantastic Juvenile section, and this is an extension of that section for young runners aged 12–16 who want to develop, improve and see just how far they can go.
🧡 AND YES… IT’S COMPLETELY FREE! 🧡
10 weeks of structured training, support, fun, a 5K race and medal, and a Cherry Orchard Running Club T-shirt, all completely FREE! Starting Tuesday 6th October and will run every Tuesday & Thursday 5-6pm
Leading the group will be Sean Meehan, bringing years of running and racing experience, including representing Ireland 🇮🇪 and taking on 200K ultras.
Sean will be supported by a team of Cherry Orchard and Coaches all working together to give our young runners the best possible experience.
This is about more than running. It’s about confidence, resilience, friendships and building the future of our club. 🧡🖤
⚠️ PLACES ARE LIMITED, so if you’re aged 12–16 and interested, don’t leave it too late!

Medal Madness. It takes a village or in our case a running family 🙌🫶🧡

Days like today leading up to the point where everyone gets their medal do not happen by accident and it’s certainly not one person that does the work.
Someone has to cut the oranges
Someone has to buy the water
Someone has to recce the route
Someone has to design the medal
Someone has to design the awards
Someone has to stand at the top till the last person passes
Someone has to drive the bus
Someone has to do first Aid
Someone has to take the pictures
Someone has to Marshall along the route for 3 hours
Someone has to hand out the goodies
Someone has to clean up the rubbish
Someone has to cheer everyone in

Thank you to our committee, Coaches and members who all contributed to today to make it happen and to a big thank you for always supporting us and today giving us their bus to bring a gang up.
