The club records with deep regret the passing of Francis Gillespie, and we extend our heartfelt sympathy to his wife Anne Marie, his children Caroline, Cathy, Anne and Francis, and to all of the extended family circle.
The Gillespie family has made an immense contribution to Donegal Rugby Club, both on and off the field. Francis himself played for the club back in the 1970s, during the early years when the club was still finding its feet. His dedication and commitment undoubtedly inspired his brothers and other family members to take up the game, helping to shape the club into what it is today.
May he rest in peace. His memory will live on in the club he loved and the family he cherished.
