I've seen some comments on here lately, directed towards Donegal supporters, Jim McGuinness, and Michael Murphy, mostly from supporters from a certain county, with a few from other counties as well. I'm not quite sure what their problem is with Donegal, but the level of nasty, vindictive, and hatred comments being spewed is shocking.
We're all passionate GAA supporters. We all get fired up on match days, and yes, we might at times say things we shouldn't say. I normally wouldn't speak out about this, but I feel the issue needs to be addressed. It's not a case of this happening on match days, and then it's just forgotten, but it's constant 24/7. π
Jim Mc Guinness and Michael Murphy are two gentlemen, who has given so much to Donegal.
There's absolutely no need for anyone to be nasty to others or get personal and bring people's families into it. We should all be able to go to a match, meet up with family and friends, and have an enjoyable day out. Supporters should be able to mix and have the craic with each other. If we won, we won with grace, and if we lose, we lose with grace.
Sadly, this doesn't seem to be the case anymore, too much bickering and arguing going on. What does it all achieve at the end of the day? Absolutely nothing. Life's to short people, go to a match, enjoy it, and as I said before have the craic, and leave all the nastiness and bitterness behind you. ππ
