Super Stars Stage School is a dance, drama and musical theatre stage school for kids based in Cork. The stage school caters for students aged 3 to 18 years old. Super stars stage School was founded in September 2010 by Kate Gaffney. It has grown rapidly since opening and now has over 800 students taking classes in drama, dance and musical theatre. Absolute privilege to do onboarding training at The Lir today. Maria and Ceri Ann are ready to roll out the brand new inclusive by design syllabus that incorporates Irish story telling!

We were so delighted to hear that what The Lir has proposed we have already been doing with our students in house for many years.

We are extremely proud to be a founding partner school.

Our new Lir classes will be hosted in FERMOY, KINSALE, BALLINCOLLIG and BLACKPOOL. Places are extremely limited so please pop us a message to be added to our waiting list.

Still a Super Star, Episode 2.

Chloe started with us at 12 and stayed until she was 19. She's working in a media agency in Dublin now, after a degree in commerce.

She says the public speaking side of Super Stars is what she still leans on most, she's in presentations constantly now, and she puts a lot of that confidence down to her years with us. She was a quiet kid outside the studio, and she'll tell you herself, Super Stars is what changed that.

"I wouldn't have that outlet that I have now."

I was a young teacher when I had a student who really struggled with emotional regulation in my class. We'd argue over which colour chair she'd sit on. Her mam and I talked most days about what had happened that week.

As she got older she matured, and she had this incredible imagination, properly creative, highly intelligent. I had her helping in classes, doing jobs at the Everyman. None of that happens if we'd given up on her early on. Her mam once told me she'd been turned away from so many places before us. We just didn't give up.
