We really appreciate all the kind words and fond memories so many people are posting about Denis. He was one of a kind - a total character and one of the kindest, truest, most generous people you'd ever meet. He made an impact on everyone he met and will be missed by all who knew him.

We are so sad to lose Denis - a wonderful collegue and friend. He will be hugely missed by everyone who knew him. He was one of a kind - someone you never forgot. He was the most generous of men - with his time, skills, expertise and empathy. He was always there with a smile, a joke, a smart comment or a funny story. He gave so much to others and he will be remembered for that generosity of spirit. All the staff and young people at the Cork Foyer and Bishopsgrove will miss Denis dreadfully - he is irreplaceable and will leave us with a void that will never be filled. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time - we can all try to honour and remember his work as best we can.

We'd like to thank everyone who came out today to support the official opening of the new Bishopsgrove project. It was wonderful to have Eoghan Murphy, Minister for Housing, do the honours and great to see Anne Doherty (Chief Executive), Lord Mayor Tony Fitzgerald and Valerie O'Sullivan (Director of Housing) there as well. Thanks to everyone for their hard work is organising the event - we had a great afternoon!
