Have you ever considered how sometimes progress isn’t about doing more?!
Yup, sometimes it’s actually about needing less help 😃👏
This client came to me through an Osteopath I’ve worked collaboratively with for many years, having found that previous attempts at exercise repeatedly resulted in pain.
So we didn’t start by pushing harder.👌
We started by understanding what movement she had available, what she was guarding, and where she needed more control, strength and confidence rather than more flexibility.🙂
Bit by bit, we’ve been building her capacity for movement and activity.😎
Recently, her Osteopath let me know that she’s doing well enough that they can begin spacing out her appointments.👏
That’s the kind of progress I love to hear about.🥰
The goal should never be dependency on treatment, therapy or even coaching.
It’s to give someone the tools, confidence and physical capacity to live their life more.🎉
That, to me, is movement that lasts. 🤍
