Charleville Afc Charleville AFC was founded in 1968 and has its home grounds at ‘Moatville’ Limerick Road, Charleville and the Town Park. The club colours are Red and White.

The home grounds in Moatville have two top class playing pitches, with the recent addition of a full size all weather pitch, and plenty of parking for teams, the many supporters, and also the visiting clubs. The Clubhouse is a credit to the club and has all the facilities needed to host visiting teams in comfort. The Town Park pitch is a beautiful pitch and is maintained all year round by Charlevi

lle AFC, it has had many games played on it and is a valuable part of Charleville AFC Club History. The club welcomes all new members and are very proud of the large number of boys and an ever increasing number of girls joining the club. As well as underage teams we have two mens and one ladies junior team new members always welcome.

Our U13 Boys are back in action in the Division 1 Cup Final tomorrow when they go up against Pallas United FC in Holycross. After winning the shield play-off earlier in the week, spirits are high and hopefully the boys will push on to add a Cup trophy to the collection. Best of luck to all involved tomorrow.

Massive well done to our U13 boys last night after a brilliant 5-4 win over a very strong Kilmallock team.

It was a cracking game with plenty of scores and chances at both ends, and credit to Kilmallock who never gave up and played the game in a great spirit throughout.

The effort, teamwork and fight our lads showed tonight in tough warm conditions was brilliant to see. Every boy gave absolutely everything and we’re hugely proud of them all.

We look forward now to the Cup Final this Saturday in Holycross at 1pm.

Our U11 girls secured a semi -final spot after a hard hard fought win v Mungret this morning. Two first half goals from Anna Morrissey coupled with 2 great saves at the other end from keeper Emily Ryan had the girls 2 ahead at halftime. Some outstanding defending with 2 second half goals from Michaela secured a 4-1 win. Well done girls.

Our U12 boys completed their season on Wednesday night where the Div 1 Squad were presented with the Division 1 League to add to their recent Cup victory completing the double. Our Premier 12 Boys also had a great season winning the Premier League with 3 games to spare. Well done to both squads on a fantastic season and to the management for all their hard work with the boys. A great bunch and comradery between the two groups and many more good days to come.
