⚽🎉 First academy session ✅

What an amazing turnout we had for what was a very historic occasion for our club as for the first time in our history we had our very own underage academy session.

Todays opening of our academy now means that our club has:
👉 Senior men's A team in Premier A
👉 Senior men's B team division 4
👉 Ladies team
👉 Youths team
👉 Academy for boys & girls 2017 - 2022!!
📈Onwards and upwards for the 2026/27 season!

A huge thanks to everyone that helped make today a fantastic success, especially Ryan Kelliher who officially opened our academy and took the time to pose for photos and sign autographs with all the boys and girls. Thanks to all the volunteers and coaches and especially to the children and their parents. Thanks also to Caroline Flynn Photography for the great footage and not forgetting Pat in the Ice Cream Van - the most popular man around afterwards 😆

Looking forward to seeing everyone again next Saturday at 1:30pm and don't forget registration remains open and all new players are welcome.

A first senior start for Rob Keane on Friday night 🟢⚪️

The 17-year-old Castlegregory man is another graduate of the Academy and has worked his way up, with 11 appearances off the bench since making his debut last season.

Plenty more to come from the Kerry man 💪
