Michael Freemantle Tag Rugby Memorial Annual beach tag rugby competition and family fun day on the Cashen Strand, Ballyduff in memory of M

Our event takes place at the Cashen Strand, about 2 miles from the village of Ballyduff, in North Kerry. It will be signposted from Ballyduff village as well as the turn off from the Ballyduff / Ballybunion Road.

Presentation cheque of €5438.79 from the proceeds raised at the Michael Freemantle Tag Rugby Memorial to the Palliative Care Unit, Kerry General Hospital on Tuesday 13th October.
Pictured are Ted Moynihan receiving the cheque on behalf on the unit and Palliative Care Unit nurses and members of the Freemantle and Laide family.
Massive thanks to everyone who contributed to such a great cause and close to many of our hearts.
Hopefully we'll be back next year to do it all over again!😆🏈

Hi everybody, sorry we haven't posted in a while. The winners of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes of €100, €75 and €50 on the day were Maggie O Mahony, IT Tralee; Kathleen Condon, Coole, Ballyduff and Maurice Stack, Beale.
Thanks to all who attended on the day, who gave donations, who gave a helping hand and who dedicated their time to ensure that the day ran so smoothly.
Community spirit is still alive and kicking in the parish of Ballyduff and long may it continue!
The monies raised will be presented by cheque to the Kerry Hospice. Date and venue to be confirmed.

Don't forget the family fun day out that is the Michael Freemantle Tag Rugby Memorial Tournament, this Sunday 9th August! Special guests Spin Southwest will also be there mingling and giving out free goodie bags!
Other fun activites on the day will include
• penalty shootouts
• treasure hunting
• bouncy castle
• face painting and MUCH MUCH MORE.

We're delighted to announce that the Spinis in their bright pink Minis will be visiting the Michael Freemantle Tag Rugby Memorial this Sunday.
