Our three teams were in Senior Championship action today in a Sunny Cavan.

The men's game started at 11.30 and it was the lads from Erne Eagles who took charge and finished 11-4 winners.

The 2nd match of the day was the mixed match, in what was a rematch of last year's All Ireland Final. It was a tight affair throughout, with Breaffy holding on to win 11-9. This was the mixed teams last game of group stage and we will finish top with 6 wins from 6 👏🏻

The last game seen the ladies take to the field. With some good batting and fielding, Breaffy ladies ran out 10-5 winners 💪🏻

Thanks to Erne Eagles for 3 sporting games and hospitality. The ladies and men's teams have a 3 week break before our next games 💙🤍

It's game week six and all 3 of our teams are in Senior GAA Rounders action this Sunday, with our men's, mixed and ladies taking on Erne Eagles Rounders Club 🥎

The matches will take place in Mullahoran GAA in Cavan, with the men up first, the mixed the second game of the day and finally the ladies team taking to the field!

Our three teams were in action again today, coming away with two wins and the narrowest of losses against Glynn Barntown.

1st up were the ladies, who were in total control throughout. The final scoreline was 27-3 and it was great to see 3 new players make their debut 👏🏻

The 2nd game was the mixed and it was high quality from start to finish. There wasn't an inch given by either team throughout, with the fielding by both teams top notch. Breaffy ran out 5-3 winners.

The men's game was the last of the day and this was even closer than the mixed. Both teams couldn't be separated throughout, but in the last batting, Glynn Barntown got the decisive run with the last batting to win 6-5. This was the 1st defeat of the season our lads.

Thanks to Glynn Barntown for 3 very sporting games 👏 We'll be back in action again in 2 weeks 💙🤍

Some mixed action from today 🧢

It was another successful day in wet and windy Athlone, for our senior teams. The ladies, mixed and men's teams came away with three good wins against Limekiln 👏🏻

The ladies game was the first on the field, and after a strong 1st innings, where they scored 5 runs, they managed to keep their Dublin opponents at arms length for the rest of the match, in very testing conditions. Final score 11-5 💪

The mixed game was up next, and Breaffy took command early with some excellent batting and fielding. They kept pushing throughout and ended up with a winning scoreline of 25-5, with a batting in hand 👌

The last game of the day seen the lads take to the pitch. Similar to the mixed, they started very well and continued strongly, right to the very end. The final score was 23-9 🙌

After four game weeks in a row, we have next weekend off, before we take to the field again on the bank holiday weekend 💙🤍

Breaffy Rounders are holding three adult open days and everyone is welcome 🥎

If you are looking to rekindle your love of rounders or just to try something new, we are inviting you to join us. These open days will take place in Castlebar Celtic astroturf pitch from 4pm to 5pm on Sunday's the 22nd February, 1st March and 8th March!
