We are delighted to share a link to our YouTube page, where you can watch highlights from yesterday’s unveiling and heritage walk:

At just 11 minutes long, it is a reminder that the real challenge is never finding content, it is deciding what to leave out. We did our best to capture over two and a half hours of activity in a short piece, and we hope it gives a sense of the day. For those of you who prefer something even shorter, we will share a bite-sized snapshot later today.
A sincere buíochas mór to everyone who came out to join us. What a joy it was to see such a turnout and such interest in our shared heritage.
We are very grateful to Burren Beo Trust for their support through the Heritage Keepers programme. It is a fantastic initiative that helps communities celebrate and take pride in the rich layers of heritage around us, not only our history, but also our built environment, our natural landscapes, and the traditions that connect them.
Our thanks also to the CDA for giving the board pride of place on the building, and we wish Maura and all involved ádh mór, with the upcoming opening of the Post Office and siopa.
A special word of thanks to Robert Brown, who joined us yesterday and was an absolute star. His knowledge is matched only by his passion and deep love for this part of Ireland, and we were very lucky to have him with us.
We also extend our thanks to Dr Conn Herriott for adding a fascinating marine dimension to the walk, opening up another layer of the story beneath and around us.
Over the coming weeks, we will be developing a new page on our website where you can explore the stories featured on the board in greater depth, and discover even more besides. Watch this space.
