Yet another very successful Carrigaholt Bay Swim this year.

- Our amazing support crew, our kayakers, our boat cover by Loop Loop Head Rowing Club and Darragh McNamara, Morgan Lyons for our bouys and setting the course and of course our swim participants whose entry fees went to The MS Ireland Looping the loop row in association with the Loop Head Rowing Club

3 more sleeps to the Carrigaholt Bay swim 2026!!!
Lots of activity over the weekend in Carrigaholt with the Annual Carrigaholt Maritime Festival.
Swim registration at Loop Head Rowing Club HQ (on the way to the slip on left before our newly refurbished post office and shop!!)

Registration on the day 12:30 - 14:30
2km Swim @ 15:30
Entry fee: €20 *CASH* on the day
All proceeds go to the Loop Head Rowing Club for the "Looping the loop row" in aid of MS Ireland
Anyone that would like a shorter swim on the day can go after main swim start and swim to first bouy and back total distance less than 1km. Safety cover will be provided.

Carrigaholt Bay Swim 2026
Part of the Shannon Region Open Water Swim League 2026 in conjunction with Carrigaholt Maritime Festival, The Loop Head Rowing Club and Central Sports Kilrush.

Be in with a chance to win our coveted Carrigaholt Swim 2026 towels (sponsored by Central Sports, Kilrush) a must have for your swim kit for 2026 swim season!

All proceeds this year will go to The Loop Head Rowing Club for the Looping the loop row to raise money for MS Ireland

Registration: 12:30 to 14:30
Location: Loop Head Rowing Club (on the left heading to slipway)
Swim time: 15:30

What a great day and thanks to everyone for all the positive feedback, you raised €1,160 for the Loop Head Rowing Club.
