Yesterday in class we explored the Sicilian Defence — one of the most popular and exciting chess openings.

It was great to see the children focusing, thinking ahead, and starting to understand deeper plans in the opening.

A big thank you to the library for hosting us — always such a welcoming and beautiful space for our chess sessions. We truly appreciate it 🫶☀️

♟️ We are back to recording our chess games!

It’s wonderful to see the children embracing the challenge of learning chess notation, working together, supporting one another, and growing as players. Every lesson brings new discoveries, confidence, and plenty of smiles.

Watching their talents develop while having fun is truly magical. We are so proud of each and every one of them. ❤️

Kilkee Waterworld officially reopened its doors on the 7th, welcoming everyone back for another fantastic season! 🎉

There’s something for everyone to enjoy — a fun water slide, relaxing sauna and whirlpool bath, a children’s pool, and a cosy café to unwind after a swim.

It’s especially wonderful to see local school children taking part in swimming lessons, helping them build confidence in the water and learn important water safety skills.

A huge thank you to everyone who makes this place such an important part of the community. Wishing everyone a great season filled with fun, relaxation, and happy memories! 🌊
