Congratulations and best of luck to our own Aaron Holbrook who has made the Carlow squad competing in the Kennedy Cup in UL Limerick throughout the week.

A massive achievement to be part of the Squad a year early and a credit to Aaron's own efforts as well as those of his Coaches at the club - we are all very proud of him 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🔴🟢🔴🟢

CDJL Academy's first match is against Limerick this evening (Monday) at 6pm.

Best of luck also to St Pat's Youths & Division 1 Men's Team, and CDJL Academy Head Coach, Ryan Fitzpatrick who will be on the sideline for the week in Limerick! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🟢🔴🟡

Huge congratulations to our club players Kyle, Dylan and Aaron, who were part of the Carlow Academy U13 squad that lifted the SFAI Inter League Bowl at the weekend after a thrilling penalty shootout win over Kilkenny! 🏆⚽

We were thrilled to learn that two of our club members will pick up individual awards at the Carlow & District Football League awards night on June 5th.

Mark Doogue has been chosen as the Seniors Division 2 player of the year. Mark was a vital part of our seniors team who claimed league glory in dramatic style. He has always had a keen eye for goal which has only improved and it meant he was our top scorer and proved instrumental in a successful season for our senior side.

Katie Byrne - Women’s most promising young players of the year. After a fantastic season with our ladies team, Katie Byrne has been nominated as one of the most promising young players in the league. Katie has a keen eye for goal, she worked tirelessly for the team, showing endless skill, determination, and an incredible work rate. A bright future ahead for Katie

To add these individual awards to the KCLR Carlow Shield and Douglas Jewellers Women’s Carlow Shield is a real bonus.

We look forward to celebrating these achievements on June 5th ❤️💚

This weekend our Under-16 Boys & Girls teams will be in SPAR Graiguecullen to help raise funds for their upcoming trip to the Barcelona Cup 🇪🇸🏆

Our managers, coaches, parents and young players are working incredibly hard to make this amazing opportunity a reality and we’d really appreciate any support from the community. If you’re in the area over the weekend, please drop in, say hello, and support the cause! 💚❤️
