Thank you to everyone who came down to our Family Fun Day on Sunday for a bounce, some games, and a runaround!

The weather held for what was a scorcher of a day and it was fantastic to see so many club members and members of the public enjoying their Sunday in the club!

A big thank you to all our volunteers who made sure the day went so smoothly and to Bensices.ie and for the ice creams and food!

We’re already looking forward to next year’s!

2026 Beachy Cup champions!

A big congratulations to the members of our Men’s squad who played and won this year’s Beachy Cup that was hosted in the Club today.

The entire squad train together and you could certainly see the benefits today as some great rugby was played and some fantastic tries were scored.

The Men’s team overcame strong challenges from Boyne RFC, Navan RFC, and Swords RFC to lift the trophy at the end of the day.

Thank you the volunteers and referees that made today possible, with a special shout out to Cathal Myles for all his work on organising the competition.

Today’s squad consisted of: Callum McManus, Adam O’Connor, Luis Hodgens, Dean Fox, Daniel Mullen, Zack May, Cillian Boylan, Glen Fitzpatrick, Diarmaid Tuckey, Tony Forde, Kyle Russell, Aly Farrell, James Raviolos, Joshua Waldron, Rory Dunne, Eddie Darcy, Max Downey, Jack Scannell, Trevor Phillips, Conor O’Grady, Jerry Ahern, Mick Hughes, and Ben Williams.

No coaching experience? No problem.

Minis Rugby: We are back!

We can’t wait to welcome all our Minis players back this week!

With new initiatives for the upcoming season along with a new approach, we are very excited for the new season!

There will be a parents meeting at 6.30pm on Thursday for parents of all age groups to explain everything but the only change needed to announce at the moment is that Minis will now be on Pitch 4 (to the left of the clubhouse).

Balbriggan RFC would love to invite you to our Family Fun Day on Sunday, September 6th!

This is an event open to the public and our members! Why not come down on the day:
• jump on some bouncy castles
• grab lunch at the BBQ and food trucks
• grab a coffee at our club coffee shop
• play some tag rugby
• grab an ice cream to cool down after it

The Beachy Cup will also be kicking off at 2pm on the day, meaning you’ll have even more entertainment with rugby being played across three pitches!

Come down and check out our facilities. We will also have registration tables on the day for anyone who would like to sign up!

Make sure you book this into your calendar; it promises to be a fantastic day!

Stick it on repeat!

The first game, the first win, and the first song of the season took place last night for our Men’s squad when they earned a hard-fought 24-0 win against Ardee RFC at home!

We would also like to congratulate Liam Costello, Sean Cody, Ben Williams, and Peter Lawless on their first game for the club.

The Men’s squad training will continue on Tuesday at 7.30pm with the next game on Thursday against North Meath.

New players are more than welcome to join!
