Skiff Rowing in Ireland is the traditional coastal rowing sport that’s popular along the East Coast of Ireland.

Fingal Rowing Club Table Quiz Fundraiser.

Friday, 10 July 2026.

Join us for another great Table Quiz fundraiser, this time at a new venue: Glebe North Football Club

🕖 Doors open: 7:00pm
🧠 Quiz starts: 7:30pm - 11:00pm.

On the night there will be:

🏆 Prize for the winning team
🎁 Spot prizes throughout the evening
🎟️ Raffle with fantastic prizes

All funds raised will go towards the construction of a new covered storage shed for our East Coast skiffs at our compound in Lambeacher. If you can't make the quiz but wish to donate to our cause, visit our GoFundMe page:

This facility will allow the club to store our skiffs close to our training grounds during the off-season and provide a dedicated space for maintenance and preparation ahead of the 2027 season.

A free weekend with no regattas?! 🚣‍♂️☀️

That can only mean one thing… club bonding time!

We spend so much of the season passing each other on the shore, hopping in and out of boats, and squeezing in a quick hello between sessions. It was fantastic to slow things down, spend time together, and get to know each other a little better in a relaxed setting.

Still on the water, of course 😉, just a different kind of adventure!

A huge thank you to HQ2O Watersports for taking such great care of our club members today.

Another fabulous day at our third ECRC Regatta of the season, hosted by our neighbours, Skerries Rowing Club.

It was touch and go whether this regatta would take place. In the early hours of the morning, you could have gone surfing in Balbriggan, but the weather broke, and we had a beautiful day. There were even a few red necks by the end of the day, thanks to the mid-day sun.

A special mention goes to our novice ladies' crew, competing in their first regatta; now they know what to do!

Here's a peek at some photos taken by our PRO yesterday. We will post a full selection in the next few days.

Well done to all our competing crews and fellow clubs. See you at Stella Maris Rowing Club Regatta on the 21st June.

Wow, what a weekend!

Our club PRO has just returned from holiday. We hope to have a full gallery of photographs capturing the day's events in the next few days.

For now, here are a few preview images from Dalkey Rowing Club Regatta, which took place on Saturday, 30th May at Scotsman's Bay near Sandycove.

Congratulations to all competing crews, and a special congratulations to our Masters Women for bringing home Silver on the day. Another great day of racing on the East Coast.

Looking forward to Skerries Rowing Club Regatta this Saturday, 7th June.

Members of our club attended the installation and launch of the new Defibrillator near our training compound.

The new Martello Tower Defibrillator is a welcome addition for all coastal visitors, including Fingal Rowing Club.
