Battlegroup members under Mr Harvey Hughes kicked off our 2026 operations with a trip to Fingal Airsoft in Stamullen. A relatively intimate affair, but reports from Mr Hughes indicated that it was an enjoyable day out. Well done to all who braved the elements.

Battlegroup members under Mr Sheamus O'Brien, rounded out the years events with a hike around Slieve Foy in Carlingford Co Louth. Onwards now to 2026 and beyond.

Yesterday, Battlegroup members under Mr Harvey Hughes attempted to ascend Mweelrea in County Mayo. Contrary to what the picture shows, the weather deteriorated rapidly and a decision was made to withdraw before too much distance and elevation was made. This was all part of Mr Highes personal objective to ascend the four highest peaks of Ireland and we were happy to oblige him with support in this endeavour. Well done to all who were there for the attempt. We will see it done in 2026!

Last night, Battlegroup members alongside colleagues from DKIT Airsoft Society undertook annual CPR/AED training on campus at DKIT. Well done to all participants who took part.

Today, Battlegroup members under Mr Sheamus O'Brien returned to Khaos Airsoft in North Dublin. There was a great number in attendance which led to some great firefights. We look forward to our next visit. Well done to all.

Last night, Battlegroup members along side students conducted a joint training exercise at DKIT. The purpose of the session was to put previous weekly training into action. As has become the norm, the excercise was abley administered by Mr Wai Keet (Pictured) who once again went above and beyond to deliver an interesting series of scenarios. Well done to all!

Pictured here are Battlegroup members who undertook our winter fitness challenge, this being a 10km loaded hike from Drogheda to the Battle of the Boyne visitor center and back again. All participants finished in good spirits. Well done to all.

Today, Battlegroup members, conducted a tour of the Irish Military Museum. For some of the attendees it was first time experience and for others it was far from a first time. Regardless, as always it was an enjoyable and highly recommended experience. If you are in the North-East of the country, its a worthwhile excursion. Thanks as always to William and Staff for the warm welcome. See you again soon!

Today, Battlegroup members under Mr Sheamus O'Brien attended Fingal Airsoft in Stamullin, Co Meath. The day was filled with intense firefights and a number of daring Manoeuvres. Thanks as always to the Staff for the warm welcome. Looking forward to our next visit.

Last night, Battlegroup members attached to DKIT Airsoft Society, hosted the Societies Induction night in the College. Enthusiasm was high with those who attended and we look forward to seeing their progression in the coming weeks, months and years. Well done to all who participated.
