This morning, Mr Harvey Hughes represented the Battlegroup at the Run for Wildlife 3km run at Dublin Zoo. The funds raised for this charity event are earmarked for International efforts to assist with the conservation of Rhino's. After successful completion of the event, Harvey is no doubt enjoying his trip to the zoo as entry to the amenity was included in the event price. Well done to Harvey and all who participated.

This past weekend, Mr Sheamus O'Brien represented the Battlegroup in a visit to Battle Camp Activity Centre in Co Fermanagh. A large amount of attendees on the day were novices and it was a pleasure to see their interest and excitement in the sport being encouraged by the staff and regular players to the site. This is the action requires to secure the future of the sport.

Additionally, Mr O'Brien was delighted to receive the much coveted Battlecamp Member Patch on behalf of all Battlegroup members who have been and will be attendees to the site.

We look forward to the next time we attend this very worthwhile site. Thanks to Nick and Co for the usual warm welcome!

Battlegroup members under Mr Sheamus O'Brien undertook, what has been the longest leg of the Royal Canal Campaign so far. Starting at Enfield, the group covered the 40 Kilometres to Mullingar in little over 8 hours which included rests along the way. Well done to all the group. Now we look forward to the next leg in 2027.

Yesterday, Battlegroup members under Mr Harvey Hughes attended Torrent Airsoft . As is always the case with Torrent, it was a good day out with good people on both sides. Special thanks on this occasion to Torrent for being able to facilitate our last minute attendance. Till the next time.......

Today, Mr Sheamus O'Brien and Mr Michael Kennedy visited the Irish Military Museum for the second day of their Spanish Civil War weekend. A bittersweet experience of where we seen a very enthusiastically manned number of displays on the Spanish Civil War, including an amateur film viewing and a very entertaining lecture on the involvement of the Irish on both sides of the conflict (Delivered by The 1st Cavan Battalion ). There was also a very impressive attendance of the public to the museum in general and the specific Spanish event. The bitter part for us was the fact this would be our last visit to the museum before it ceases opening to the public. It is a sad loss to the country and to the locality. We, as an organisation would like to thank William for his efforts to the Militaria community in general and to us ad an organisation. Best wishes to whatever venture you move onto.

This past weekend, Battlegroup members under Mr Sheamus O'Brien concentrated in Berlin, Germany for the third "Operation Europa ", the campaign to visit each of the European Union countries. Pictured here on Day one of activities is Sheamus with two of our Continent based members: Conor (Switzerland) and Alex (Germany) who were able to join us as we learned about Local and National German History of the 20th Century.
On the second day, the group learned and more importantly, sampled, a range of traditional German Food and Beaverages. With the events 3 "Standing Objectives" achieved, it was mission accomplished and a Bon Voyage as members make their way home at time of posting this.
Well done to all on this one and hopefully Europa IV.

Congratulations to our own Mr Wai Keet who achieved ,his long strived for, ambition of completing a half Marathon. Wai achieved his goal today at the Termonfeckin half marathon in Co Louth. Well done to Wai and all the other participants who braved the distance and the temperature. Rest and relaxation has been most certainly earned!

Today, Battlegroup members under Mr Sheamus O'Brien participated in the St Killians Way Camino which started and ended in Mullagh Co Cavan. Pictured here are the members upon receiving their participation medals. Well done to all!

Yesterday, Battlegroup members under Mr Sheamus O'Brien returned to Urban Assault in Co Meath. Player attendance was strong for the day which led to several tense engagements over the course of the day. Thanks as always to Jonathan and crew for the experience and off course to allies and opposition for their sportsmanship.
