USRC Tigers

USRC Tigers USRC Tigers is one of Hong Kong's Premier Rugby Clubs. The Club was established to provide a recreational haven for officer-class personnel and their families.

The USRC opened in 1911 to cater for the growing military presence in Hong Kong following the leasing of the New Territories to the British. The USRC has a proud sporting history which continues to be maintained - the USRC competes for honours in the Hong Kong sporting scene much as the military teams did in years gone by. DeA Tigers RFC was formed in September 2002 from the amalgamation of two ex

isting HK clubs; DeA RFC (est. 1988), a senior club, and Kai Tak Tigers (est. 1978) a club offering both mini and youth rugby. Upon the merger, the club became 'DeA Tigers Rugby Football Club' creating, at that time, only the second club in HK to cater for rugby at all levels. DeA Tigers Rugby Football Club and United Services Recreation Club (USRC) are delighted to announce a partnership commencing June 2014. As part of the agreement DeA Tigers Rugby Football Club will change its name to USRC Tigers for the 2014/2015 season and beyond.
