York Boxing Club

York Boxing Club As part of England boxing Established in 1966 we are York’ oldest boxing club and became affiliated to The Amateur Boxing Association of England in 1967.

Many young people have stepped through our doors over the years, some went a little further by stepping into the ring. Many became area champions with some going onto regional level. We have had a few make a living as professional boxer too. All our coaches are qualified to ABAE standard, Police checked (CRB) insured and trained in child welfare matters. On an evening everyone is a volunteer so pl

ease bare this in mind and remember to say thank you from time to time, it does mean a lot. Working to Safe Learner Blue Print, North Yorkshire Safeguarding Children, Every Child Matters and ABAE guidelines when delivering our classes.
