How does Shooting Stars Netball collect data? SSNY will only collect your data through the digital information you send to us directly via email, direct messaging on Facebook, or WhatsApp or via paper copy. Information on these forms will be held at the Club Secretary’s House for the duration of the Netball season, to which they will be destroyed on the completion of the season, generally no longer than one year. To enable the club to communicate effectively and efficiently with it’s members the use of an app named Teamer will include members’ email addresses and names. Data collected for Payment:
Payment details are collected by the Club Treasurer at the beginning of your engagement with our club once we receive confirmation you wish to sign-up and are forwarded to the bank to authorise payment of Club fees. This payment data will be removed by us should you choose to leave the club. Information that passes to third party organisations:
Shooting Stars Netball York may from time to time share your details with Yorkshire Sport, Sport England or England Netball. We have taken steps to ensure all third-party organisations are GDPR compliant. Your rights:

Rights to access:
You have the right to request a copy of the data we hold about you by contacting Faye Orton – Data Protection Officer. We will respond to your request within one month. Please note that there are exceptions to this right
