Tuesday & Fridays are open sessions from 6pm till 7.30pm - All ages welcome (U10 years to be accompanied by an adult).

Saturday 10am till 1pm also an open session - All ages welcome (U10 years to be accompanied by an adult).

All sessions are £5 or £25 for the month.

Unanimous decision Imy Nathan .

A very very game in Nasmin Ribero who did not stop coming. Imy took a lot from her first contest for Yeovil ABC.

We travel home with our first bout of the new season with a very well earned win 🥇

So grateful to return to the Channel Islands. Seen a lot of old faces and was great to catch up.

Back in the club next week for our regular times.

Today’s we have 4 firsts -

It is Yeovil’s first contest of season 2026/27 and Imy Nathan opens her account for Yeovil ABC and wears the vest for the first time. Imy has been with the club for around 18 months now and has grown from strength to strength in the gym alongside everyone else but as coach’s we feel she could be a shining jewel in the crown of the club. Don’t be fooled by her friendly look, the girl will have a go and is exiting to watch in the gym so we will be looking forward to seeing how she fairs in the ring as we head to Jersey who she will face Nazmin Ribererio. With Nazmin being the home boxer, Imy has it all to play for although we fully expect to be up against it with the home boxer having the full support of her home fans.

Thirdly - for the club being at St Michaels Hall, Imy is our first home grown female athlete. Although she follows on from Yeovil’s queen in Shakira Purchase, Imy is very much the clubs princess and we are extremely proud for Yeovil to have another female boxer to start adding to what we hope will be a long list of female talent in the future.

And finally for me personally I lived and boxed out of Jersey for a number of years. I’d represented Jersey over seas on several occasions and although the island of Guernsey is where I’m from, Jersey is a place where I earned my respect amongst gym of guys who detested the sister island. However I found myself very much a part of the Jersey Leonis family and wore my colours with pride.

I began my coaches badges there 15 years ago but now return as a Head Coach and I look forward to some nostalgic moments as we arrive.

So a great achievement from the team. Yeovil ABC & Dorchester Amateur Boxing club raised nearly £800 for the NHS after jumping off the hospital roof (with a rope obviously.

Huge well done to the team - Myles Fearon Unni Shaik Beth Poole Ollie Baird Lee Litherland Shakira Purchase Ollie Power - Boxing Coach for being brave enough to step up to the plate.

New challenges going forward - I hope not but we probably will! If Beth has anything to do with it anyway 😬

Some tough news coming out of the Yeovil ABC camp this morning.

Squad Captain Aiden Faulkner has been removed from the Development National Championships which begins this month due to a technical error from our associates.

We are so gutted at this as Aiden was primed and ready to open the season and was heavy favourite to progress to the later stages of the competition which would have recognised him as one of Englands up and coming talents and would have been huge for Yeovil Town. Although from our side - the secretarial stand point, fees have been paid and paperwork has been filled, sadly this year we will not be allowed to enter Yeovil’s leading young star.

We will however still have Yeovil’s experienced Liam Fouraches in the mix who will be drawn from a collective of 2 other boxers to box off to progress to the final of the western counties development finals in October.

The Road leads to a new season for the club and the third in which the clubs base at St Michael’s Hall.

Massive well done to our new coach Myles Fearon for passing his level one this weekend.

Myles has jumped on to our coaching staff as an incredibly valuable asset to the club.

Myles brings a welcoming face, a caring attitude and a humble spirit to helping our junior and senior classes develop.

Well done Myles on cementing your position at Yeovil ABC and thank you for everything you do for the club. The world needs more people like yourself!

An end to another glorious week at St Michaels Hall - it’s been a warm one and we witnessed a very underwhelming eclipse.

This week seen clubs such as Dorchester , Avalon & Crewkerne pop over for some rounds of sparring.

Loads to look forward to over the upcoming months such as the announcement of our boxers representing Yeovil ABC in the seasons first competition national championships.

🚨 Please read and share 🚨

Many of you will know Bradley Axe but for those of you who don’t.

Brad is a local professional boxer. He’s a Corporal in the RAF, a family man with 2 beautiful boys and a hard working wife.

Brad is an ex boxer for Yeovil ABC and tomorrow, he box’s on one of the worlds biggest platforms in the sport, Zuffa Boxing. He knows it’s going to be one of the biggest tests of his life but we are asking one thing that costs nothing other than to tune in to Sky Sports between 7 and 8pm.

Brad is a humble hardworking firefighter in the RAF and Zuffa boxing works on statistics of views via the likes of social media and television. So this type of exposure for a local boxer works for us all especially Bradley who’s worked so hard to be where he’s at.

Brad is one of the most positive people you will meet and Yeovil should be proud that someone is pushing this type of ambition.

Congrats Brad Axe for getting to where you have mate, we’re all behind you.

Just don’t forget us when you’re on the next big stage! 🥊
