What a way to round off the Staffordshire Touch
Series at Stafford!

For the second time this season, Essington
RUFC proudly fielded two teamsโthe Hawks and
the Eaglesโand what an evening it was!
The temperature was high, but somehow our
energy was even higher. Every single person who
stepped onto that pitch left their heart out there,
showing exactly what Essington RUFC is all
about. The passion for the game, the
determination to work hard, and the willingness
to do everything possible for our teammates
was there for everyone to see. Every player gave
absolutely everything from the first whistle to
the last, and we couldn't be prouder.
More than anything, this tournament has shown
that we're more than just a rugby clubโwe're a
family. The support, encouragement, and belief
we've shown one another throughout the series
has been incredible, and wearing that pink top
alongside one another has been a privilege.
As the Staffordshire Touch Series comes to an
end, we'd like to say a huge thank you to
everyone who has supported us throughout the
season. Thank you to the Essington RUFC
committee for all of the hard work behind the
scenes to help organise our tournaments, to
everyone who stepped up to take photos and
capture the memories, and to the families,
friends, and supporters who have cheered us on
every single week. Every one of you has played a
part in making each tournament such a fantastic
experience.
Finally, we'd like to say a very special thank you
to Faz, whose final tournament as Head Coach
was Friday night. Your dedication,
encouragement, and unwavering support have
helped shape this team into what it is today.
You've given every player the confidence to grow,
compete, and enjoy the game, and because of
you we've played some incredible touch rugby.
Thank you for everything you've done for this
squadโyou've left a lasting impact on every one
of us. ๐ฉท
Here's to an unforgettable summer of touch
