Today weโ€™re celebrating the Gathurst Golf Club Greenkeepers โ€” the team working tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the course looking and playing at its very best.

From early starts in all conditions to the care and attention that goes into every green, fairway and bunker, their hard work makes a huge difference to the course we all enjoy.

๐Ÿฅพ 130km. Six days. One incredible challenge for Daffodils Dreams! ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŒผ

This September, the wonderful Jim and Julie Wall from Gathurst Golf Club will be taking on the Via Degli Deiโ€”The Path of the Godsโ€”walking an incredible 80 miles through the Apennine Mountains, from Bologna to Florence.

Jim and Julie are covering all their own travel, accommodation and food costs, meaning 100% of every donation will come directly to Daffodils Dreams, helping us continue supporting disadvantaged children and families across the Wigan Borough.

We are truly grateful to them both for taking on such a huge challenge for DD. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a differenceโ€”and if youโ€™re unable to donate, sharing their fundraising page would mean just as much.
