Fir Tree Fishery Fir Tree Fishery is a commercial fishery based near to Wigan. It provides angling facilities for pleasure angling, specimen fishing as well match fishing.

Welcome to Fir Tree Fishery. "I am delighted to introduce to you our brand new access for all fishing and education lake at Fir Tree Fishery." It has been designed with the help of the British Disabled Angling Association (BDAA) and the support of the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) to be one of the first venues in the country to allow full participation for all members of the angling

community. The new facility will allow disabled anglers the chance to participate in all events, and juniors new opportunities through angling coaching and education days. From the specially designed coaching platforms through to wheelchair accessible paths, discover the research and planning that has allowed this lake to be truly labelled "access for all".
