Halton Borough FC 3-6 Village FC
A great game to be involved in, there was lots of positives to take from this gane but also negatives to learn from. A very end to end first half but we seen ourselves 3-1 up and in pretty good control second half, until we hit the last 20 minutes. A mixture of good comeback play from the village and complacency from us seen the tie turn.

This weekend Result

Halton Borough FC 3-2 Newburgh FC
A great win for the lads yesterday, seeing them coming from behind twice, to get the 3 pts. The lads done really well and could have had a few more. After a stop start second half, we did have a nervy last 10 minutes but they defended solidly.

No game for the reserves this weekend as out home pitches were waterlogged 👎

Halton Borough FC 4-1 Orford FC
A great result for the 1sts this weekend. On a very wet boggy pitch, the lads continued their winning ways with a strong performance. 4 great goals, but they left the best till last in a lovely passing move, neatly finished off by Lee B.

Halton Borough Reserves 1-3 Bickerstaffe Reserves
It just wasn't our ressies day this weekend. After battling hard all game, they seen themselves down to 10 men. The visitors capitalised and took the 3pts. Another boggy pitch as the weather wasn't too kind to us.

Halton Borough FC 1-3 Newburgh FC
A game of missed chances cost us as we didn't stop the visitors from getting on the scoresheet. On another day it could of been the opposite result.

Halton Borough Res 1-5 Collegiate Old Boys
The reserves bow out of the cup. Short in numbers, the lads still worked hard on the pitch. They had big opportunities when the scoreline was close but we didn't make them count and Collegiate moved away in the end. Good luck in the next round

Guardian Cup
Halton Borough FC 2-2 Malt Street FC
1st game back in the new year, which we squeezed on after a frosty morning. The lads will be a bit unhappy with this one after having the majority of the ball during the game and making plenty of good opportunities we didnt take the win. Malt Street had their own chances during the game but took the most decisive ones, winning game on Pens 4-3.
Good Luck in the next round.

Save Our Playing Fields
Request

Hi All
Our chosen government has proposed to change planning application rules over the Christmas period.

The government is running an online consultation on the proposal to remove Sport England’s statutory role as a consultee on planning applications. If this intention is acted upon it is likely to present a risk to playing fields and community spaces for sport. An article providing the context is here

Can you please sign this online petition to try and stop this change. Our main supporter in saving our playing fields for future generations of sports enthusiasts, no matter which sport.
Remember-
Once it’s gone, it’s gone

For the Government to ensure strong safeguards for playing fields, pitches and community sports facilities by maintaining Sport England’s status as a statutory consultee for planning applications involving playing fields.

Halton Borough FC 3-4 Bickerstaffe FC
The lads will be gutted about this result. After going behind with 2 soft goals borough got themself ahead through some good play throughout the game. A massive fluke and a good headed corner was the sucker blow as bickerstaffe took the 3 pts. A great determination from our lads, we just need to finish games off.

Halton Borough FC 2-5 Sidac FC
After a very dominant first half the lads seen themselves go into HT 1-0 up and could of been a few more. Second half seen a collapse of concentration and effort and Sidac stunned us, with more effort and taking their chances.
