We’ve got our hands on a fleet of the all-new Specialized Tarmac SL9s, and we’re inviting you to come and ride one with us on a guided ride from the shop.

A chance to get out on the bike, put it through its paces and experience the latest evolution of one of the most celebrated race bikes in cycling. Limited places available.

Today, Pedal Power's Gus Lawson takes on the biggest race of his season at the 2026 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Val di Sole.

Gus lines up in the Junior Cross-Country Olympic (XCO), and he heads into the race in fantastic form. He's already shown some serious pace this season, including a Junior World Series podium at Cannock, building on his victory at Plymouth.

Gus's Dad, Gary, spoke to him earlier this morning and says he's buzzing and feeling great, which bodes very well ahead of the race later this morning!

So, from everyone at Pedal Power: go well, Gus! Ride smart, ride hard and enjoy every second of it. You've earned your place on this start line.

It's always great to see familiar faces!
Longtime Pedal Power alumni Garry Nicol (now with Giant) stopped by to collect his new ride but this time, he got to enjoy the customer experience.

We took care of the full setup on his Giant Revolt Advanced SL 1:

Giant DCF Bike Fit: Full dynamic fitting with tailored frame geometry, component sizing, and custom footbeds. (DCF Pro Bike coming soon!)

A massive congratulations to Pedal Power RC’s Grieg Brown, taking a brilliant 2nd in the Vet 40s at the British Gravel Champs!

Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by the BREW BOX to say hello, grab a coffee and talk bikes and tyres. It’s been brilliant seeing so many customers and familiar faces.
And there’s plenty more to come.

Tomorrow the big hitters take to the full course, and a seriously stacked field will be battling it out for the British Gravel stripes. It’s going to be some race!
