Such sad news tonight, RIP Dave, thoughts with Lynne, family and close friends.
I am absolutely heartbroken, we have lost one of the world’s best people.
Dave Tasker was the most positive, inspiring character. His wonderfully bright outlook on life was a great support in the tough times, and an even greater joy in the good times.
Whether it was during my Cadwell Park days, or since then on various race tracks and rally stages, I always looked forward to seeing Dave, and my day was always better when I did.
My thoughts are with Lynne and the rest of the family. What a privilege it was to share our sport, and our world with this awesome bloke.
Having a beer for you tonight mate, god am I going to miss you. Thanks for everything. 💔
