Last week, I was out & about with Course Manager Jon Gamble and Green Keeper Mark Fletcher. ⛳️

We had a great chat about the greens while I watched them hard at work. I never realised just how many different jobs there are to do, or the variety of machinery used to keep the course looking perfect all year round.

Fair play to them both, they do a fantastic job making sure you golfers have the very best experience every time you visit.

Wales golfers Jonathan Bale Royal Porthcawl Golf Club and Tomi Bowen Welshpool Golf Club reached the final of the US Amateur Four-Ball in one of the top Welsh performances in US Golf Association events.

This week we had great pleasure in welcoming Mid Wales Classic Vehicle Club for their BONUS meet. A bonus meet is organised by any member of the club, and this one was organised by Chris and Bronwen Bolver.

It was a fantastic turn out with over 45 members who came to show off their classic cars in the beautiful sunshine🌞. They all had a variety of food off our menu, from full english and small breakfasts, toasties, sausage and bacon 🥓 baps, and even tomatoes 🍅on toast.

Remember you do not have to be a member to come and enjoy a few drinks or a bite to eat at the clubhouse!

We can’t wait to welcome you all back very soon, whether it be as a whole club or in smaller groups.
