Matches must be played by July 24th.

Captain’s Away Day.

42 of our members turned up to Garry’s Captain Away Day last Friday to play at Northop golf course⛳️.

The day kicked off at 7.30am on the bus from Welshpool.....🙈

Bacon baps on arrival, they were then ready to play 18 holes in the beautiful sunshine 🌞

After golf, a lovely 2 course meal and a few drinks were consumed, well quite a few 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺.....lol 😂

There were definitely a few sore heads the next morning, but everyone would like to thank Garry for organising such an enjoyable day.

Last week, I was out & about with Course Manager Jon Gamble and Green Keeper Mark Fletcher. ⛳️

We had a great chat about the greens while I watched them hard at work. I never realised just how many different jobs there are to do, or the variety of machinery used to keep the course looking perfect all year round.

Fair play to them both, they do a fantastic job making sure you golfers have the very best experience every time you visit.
