⛵ SUPER WEEKEND FOR TEAM WARSASH! ⛵ A fantastic two days at the IOCA UK Parkstone Yacht Club Optimist Open, with Team Warsash sailors racing across all three fleets. Brilliant to see so many moving up a fleet or attending their first Open! 🙌

🥈 Coached Regatta: Seb – 2nd
🥈 Regatta: Edith – 2nd, with three Warsash girls in the top five!
⛵ Main Fleet: Some hard-earned PBs, including Bear at his first Main Fleet event!

🌟 Special mention to George, winner of the Parkstone Competitor Award for his outstanding attitude, politeness and all-day smile!

Great racing, great progress and a great team weekend. 💪

⛵💙 Team Warsash on Tour! While we’re busy at home hosting the Hartley Boats Blaze Fire National Championship & Blaze Open Meeting, our young sailors have been flying the Warsash flag further afield! 🙌

A fantastic turnout from K2, K3 and Race Optimist at the IOCA UK Papercourt Sailing Club Optimist Open – and for many, their very first Open Meeting away from Warsash! ⛵👏

Even better, two sisters from our K2 and Race Optimist groups brought home the silverware! 🏆🥈 Huge congratulations to them and to all of Team Warsash.

Meanwhile, another Team Warsash contingent is at the Parkstone Yacht Club Optimist Open. Have a brilliant weekend – we can’t wait to hear how you get on! 🌊💙

Having a nice evening social after a great days sailing for the Blaze, Fire and Solution classes national championships. Tomorrow is also looking a great day for sailing.

🏆⛵ Congratulations Team Warsash! ⛵🏆 Fantastic results for Warsash at the Hamble Valley Regatta 🎉

🌟 Grace and Frances took 1st and 2nd in the IOCA UK Optimists. After a long upwind beat to the top mark, it was a short, fast downwind blast to the finish off Warsash Sailing Club.

With winds touching 25 knots and wind against tide, they did brilliantly to battle through the conditions and finish. 💨🌊 Frances also secured the trophy for the youngest competitor! 🏆

And it wasn’t just the youngsters showing their skills… 🏆 — Peter Greenhalgh, sailing his Foxer, came 1st! ⛵👏

+ Optimist parents came out of retirement and took the win in Race 1 of the Handicap class, sailing their retro Buzz to victory! 😎⛵

👏 A huge thank you to the event organisers, volunteers and safety crews who gave their time to make the racing possible. Days like this simply couldn’t happen without you.
