We love Sigma 38's particularly Kindred Spirit. She has been extensively refurbished and her refurbishment will be ongoing through 2024 to bring her as close to "as new" condition as we can. We'll be offering racing, cruises and fun weekends on the water all under the watchful eye of our professional skipper who will be onboard with you.

We had such a lovely day sailing up the Beaulieu River on Sunday. We picked up a mooring for a relaxed lunch, spent some time exploring a little further upriver, and then made our way back to Port Hamble Marina in the evening sunshine.

Join us for the 2027 edition of the Rolex Fastnet Race. Make your plans now, so that we can nail an early qualifying race in September 2026, and get crew all working together as one..
Owners Jon and Johan will be joined by 10-time Fastnet race skipper Ed Hall for this campaign, same as in 2025 we invited him back for his skills and experience.
You aren't really an offshore sailor until you can say you've done a Fastnet, it's ultimate test of your sailing and endurance on the 600+ mile offshore race circuit, with over 300 miles in qualifying races, safe competitive and fun are our objectives, and you'll learn a great deal about yourself and how to keep a yacht moving in performance mode 24 hours a day. Only a few places left, so please get in touch if you'd like to know more, or talk to any of the 2025 crew.

Well now we’re into 2026 and winter refresh of hull and other bits well underway.. Kindred goes back in the water on 23rd.
So coming up we have spring training open to all on 31st Jan, 21st Feb, 28th Feb, 14th March and 28th March, each day is training in the basics, of sailing a racing a boat, open to all levels of experience, so please say hello if interested, the days are fun and Nigel the trainer is exceptionally good.. the 7th of Feb and 7th of March is race crew training and both dates full.
End of March we have the first JOG races (junior offshore group) the Lonely tower and great escape 21/22nd this is also full.
In April we have our first race to France (Cherbourg) on the 3rd and the spring series 4 days on 18th/19th and 25/26th racing round the cans in Solent, this is also full.
In May with better weather we will have some cruising dates one or 2 days, at a leisurely pace open to all levels no experience necessary and also some gentle tester days open to anyone who’s not sailed with us before to try your hand sailing.. please contact us for more information or to book a day on the water..

Ok 2027 we have 3 spaces left for the Fastnet at moment, we are putting a crew together and will race and train as a crew later this year and start the qualifying process in 2026, we want to try and put the best crew we can in all forms together, race more as a team and hopefully improve on 2025 result in class.. so if you’re up for this please contact me, directly.

It covers racing and cruising, with opportunities to get more involved by being 1st mate or skipper on certain passages, with various regattas and even one in France..

You can register your interest for any event directly from the site. The calendar will be updated throughout the year, with new events added and existing events updated as they sell out.

Well what can I say? First race weekend of 2025 on Kindred Spirit, we’ve been working towards a race crew and first day was lonely tower race, we had a blinding start and ended up on the upwind leg rounding the lonely tower in about 10/12th place overall, Way home with only small heavyweight spinnaker and light winds we dropped back, but no major mistakes we were pleased.
Sunday similar format.. but not sigma weather.
Great weekend and looking forward to starting Fastnet campaign.

So Kindred Spirit is entered for the Fastnet and we have a great crew, after new hull livery and race antifoul, partial internal refit, and new nav system..
We’re looking forward to this years sailing.
