After what feels like forever, the first coat of primer on my A class 'Cymbeline' Just sanded back and about to put on the second coat, see WWW.classicpondyachts.co.uk for restoration as it goes along.

Spent some time filling an open joint in the keel timbers on Cymbeline, I have already filled the joint on the port side, which only took a small amount of epoxy, now I have turned the boat over, I can see the Stb side is a bigger crack. I raked out the loose ? old bedding? and masked up the sides of the joint, mixed up some epoxy and poured it over the crack, then used a heat gun to warm the epoxy, which makes it go thin, and it runs into the joint, as it slowly soaks into the joint, I am going to mix a second batch and repeat the above.

Then again, a quiet day in the garage suits Freddy, he normally gives me the evil eye when the noise starts, he really hates the hoover, and goes to find peace and quite elsewhere!

No model yacht work today, Had to go over the river to sea trial a Nelson 49, or would have if Hamble Point Marina had launched her,! nothing changes, try again tomorrow !!!
