📣 WEEKEND RACES! 📣

🚣 METROPOLITAN REGATTA 🚣
Well done to our two senior crews who competed at Met Regatta. Maddy, Frankie, Leanna & Iffy raced on Saturday in the W4x Championships and Robin, Matt, Sean and Tom in the Op 4- Club on Sunday.

Both boats raced well amongst some incredibly strong competition. Well done to the seniors for all the hard work they are putting in to be able to compete at such high levels. And of course to their coach Richard.

🚣TRENTHAM REGATTA 🚣

As always, the club had a great day at Trentham Regatta on Sunday. We always send plenty of crews and this year was no exception!

With 36 crews, from J13s to Masters F, entered into 30 events, we enjoyed 12 wins!

Our amazing juniors also won the Victor Ludorum Cup (along with £500 for the club!) which is awarded to the most successful junior club!

But even more importantly stay than that, this was another opportunity for our members to show what a great team we are. With everyone helping and supporting each other.

So shout out to EVERYONE who attended, competed and supported! 🙌💙💛

For getting our juniors to training week in, week out as well as to the event and pitching in with loading, rigging, carrying and fetching!

OUR FIRST TIME RACERS
It’s always quite overwhelming to race for the first time and some of our younger juniors were doing just that yesterday, and we were so proud of them! And lovely to see our older juniors helping them out.

Well done again to everyone who contributed to a great event! 💙💛

Next up? British Masters Championships on the 13th & 14th June. 🤩🤩

Great teamwork today from everyone to get two trailers loaded with boats of all sizes!

WELL DONE to Adam, Ruby, Maisie & Lucy for their performance at the National Schools Regatta this weekend. All did really well against a very tough field.

💙 Adam came 8th in his time trial, reaching the A/B Semi final where he came 5th ans then going on to finish 2nd in the B final. (Photos below)

💛 Ruby came 21st in her time trial making the repêchage where she came 4th. This lead her to then C/D semifinal where she came 2nd and on to the C Final where she finished 5th.

💙 Maisie & Lucy came 6th in the Time Trial which took them straight into the A Final where they finished 4th.

With over 50 competitors in the singles races and 35 in the doubles, it shows just how well they did with such competition.

Well done to all! Competitors, coaches and the very important supporters! 💙💛💪🤩

Thanks for taking Jez into recovery Scull Tech UK! She’s a popular single and has been missed while out of action!

Next boat up for some TLC is a Hudson single taking on lots of water with a few suspect areas including the fin area. We will be stripping it back, drying him out and making him water tight again.

CONGRATS to our Development Squad who competed at the Runcorn Rowing Club Explore event today.
Two scratch crews did brilliantly to win four out of their eight races!
