26 Extreme Professional Event Organisation & Management At 26 Extreme we have many years of experience and extensive knowledge in the planning of outdoor sporting events.

These events range from adventure races, short runs, off-road marathons, ultra marathons, half marathons and mountain treks. We are the organising team behind the first ever off-road marathon in Northern Ireland – The Mourne Way Marathon - and and since then have brought events such as the Causeway Coast Marathon and Coast to Coast Multisport Race across Ireland to the table. These large scale eve

nts will bring competitors from across the world to towns and villages which have not had the opportunity to benefit from a major event of this nature in the locality before. We can also organise smaller scale sporting events for clubs and asociations that would like to try a different sport or an event in an area or terrain that they are not used to. ⚠️ IMPORTANT PARKING UPDATE – PLEASE READ ⚠️ PLEASE SHARE!!!!!
Due to the significant rainfall we have experienced in recent days, along with further rain forecast overnight, we have made a change to the parking arrangements for Marathon and Ultra participants.
This decision has been taken to protect the grass parking areas from damage and to ensure safe access for all competitors and spectators.
Please note: There will be no competitor parking available in Kilbroney Park before 10:00am.
Updated Parking Instructions
When arriving in Rostrevor from Warrenpoint, turn right at the mini roundabout and follow the road towards Kilbroney Park. Immediately on your left, opposite the car wash, you will find the designated event car park.
✅ Parking at this location is free of charge.
Please follow the directions of our marshals on arrival and park only in the designated area. From there, it is just a short walk to registration.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work to protect the venue and maintain safe parking conditions for everyone.

This is the last chance to Defer and or change your entry in to the Mourne Way events this Saturday. You have until 9PM this evening, then the deferral window will close.

- Log into https://26.events
- navigate to my tickets and then manage my ticket

From here you can:
- Change distance up or down
or
- Cancel your ticket and the credit will return to your wallet to enter a future event.

After 9pm this will no longer be possible as your number will be allocated and packed for collection at the event.

It's time to start the Mourne Way Weather Watch. This weeks looking ok. Not too sunny, warm and the occasional shower. Race day looks to start off a bit damp for the ultra then turn brighter as the day goes on. Looks like great running conditions! Stay tuned and prepare for changing conditions.
