We are thrilled to welcome Alumni Tia Alicia Afilaka
back to Dance Connection to teach at our
2026 Company Auditions! Tia always brings incredible energy, expertise and inspiration to the studio, and we can’t wait for our dancers to learn from her once again. ♥️🖤

Tia Alicia Afilaka, Dance Connection alumni and former head girl has recently graduated from Addict Dance Academy.

Tia is known for bringing light and energy along with authenticity to every stage she steps on which is guided by her passion for movement, her personal approach to dance shows her commitment and dedication to growth and connecting with an audience.

Throughout Tia’s career she has gained valuable experience by performing with various renowned choreographers performing all across the UK. She has taken diverse roles, in a performance setting such as 13 Going On 30 Flashmob, Mcdonalds Advert and The Good Kid Odyssey FMP along with many more, such as gaining a Cruise contract with P&O cruise line. Tia’s achievements continue to grow as she builds her precesnce within the industry where she consistently demonstrates professionalism and a strong artistic voice where she has been apointed dance captain across various platforms.

These focused training sessions are designed to help dancers build strong technique, confidence, flexibility, and performance quality. Dancers will work on conditioning, kicks, turns, leaps, jumps, and dynamic movement exercises in a supportive but challenging environment.

This one feels extra special (and a little emotional 🥹)

Years of memories, hard work, friendships, highs, challenges, growth… all leading to this moment. Watching these girls grow into the dancers and young women they are today has been something really special 🤍

And to the mums… who have been there through every step, every early morning, every costume, every emotion. This journey has been yours too 🫶
