36 hockey players descended on Hadden Hill Golf Club for the annual WHC Golf Day.
The morning began with longest drive with a hockey stick, with winners Matt Lock, John Rees and Helen Barber taking home the prizes.
The Texas scramble was split across a men’s comp off the first tee and a mixed comp off the 10th. Dickie Hawson, Mike Latham, JP and Charlie Lester won the men’s comp with Damian Tyler, Kev Shaw, Fon Leigh and Heather Merryweather winning the mixed.
In the post lunch round JP picked up closest to the pin in 2, Adam Mills won nearest the pin and Dave Illingworth and Carol Rees won longest drives.
The team prize went to Colin Merryweather, Damian Tyler, John Rees and Dave Illingworth with a score 90 points.
In third individually was Charlie Allen on Countback with 37 points, last years champ Dan Richardson had to settle for second this year with 38 points whilst Nigel Eady became the WHC champion golfer of the year with 39 points on debut!
