What a fantastic turnout for our first official Sunday back at the club for our U12 Girls squad! 💜💛

🏉 Open to girls in Years 6 and 7
📅 Wednesdays: 6:30pm-7:30pm
📅 Sundays: 11:30am-1pm

Sundays are our match days, and when we don’t have a game, we’ll be training at the club.

A huge thank you to all our Uckfield Rugby Club members, family and friends who came out to support us at Uckfield Carnival on Saturday. 🎉

From the brilliant team who spent Saturday morning decorating the float to the record-breaking numbers who pounded the pavement alongside us in the parade, the support was fantastic. It was great to see such a brilliant turnout from the URFC family in the evening.

And all that hard work paid off… we won Best Float! 🎉🏉

A special thank you also has to go to Scrummy, our very own dancing squirrel, who made a very important appearance and helped us celebrate in style! 🐿️

A brilliant evening and a great show of club spirit. Thank you to everyone who played a part!

🏉 RUGBY RETURNS! 🏉

This Sunday sees the return of the rugby season at URFC.

We cannot wait to welcome back our players and enjoy another successful season with all our mini and junior squads.

URFC U13’s are back up and running for another season, following on from their hugely successful run of matches as U12’s, picking up many wins against some big clubs!

If your son is going into Yr 8 and would like to join this squad then do get in touch, those with or without rugby experience.

We have players from five different schools in this team as well as those being homeschooled, so are definitely not a clique group; all players are welcomed and included.

URFC also welcome new players, girls and boys in all age groups from school Reception year upwards.

📣 **We’re Hiring – Clubhouse & Community Operations Manager**

As our new and improved clubhouse gets ready for its next chapter, we’re looking for a friendly, practical and hands-on person to help run it day to day.

The role will involve looking after the clubhouse, bar, Kitchen, functions, bookings and staff, while also helping us grow its use for members, visitors and the wider community.

We’re looking for someone organised, commercially aware and happy to get stuck in when needed.

**Salary: £36,000–£40,000 depending on experience, plus performance-related bonus.**

Experience in hospitality, events, leisure or venue management would be helpful, but rugby experience isn’t essential.

* 29/11/26 AWAY to Hastings

Our team has been focusing on fitness in pre-season training, ready for the challenge of these teams.

If your son is going into year 8 in September and fancies giving rugby a try, then do get in touch!

Our U13’s team are already focusing on furthering and developing a positive culture within the team ready for the challenges of next season!

With a pre-season focus on fitness, half of the Wolfpack team plus their coach and a parent joined in with a team building jog and a social with their families from the rugby club to our clubs sponsor, The Highlands Inn.

There the boys were greeted by our URFC Chairman Gordon Buckland who clapped the boys in and congratulated them on their run; don’t be fooled by the photo, he didn’t join them on the run!

If your lad is going into year 8 in September, encourage them to come and join our team!
