Pull out bed coming on, we'll call it a small double 😉 and started on the ceiling so a couple of wires run in for lights. Trying an LED strip in the roof this time for a change with a couple of spots over the kitchen bit and one for the bed. There won't be any more progress for a couple of weeks now.

A little progress today, started on the kitchen end, added a lift up seat base (hinged). Sourced another pallet 😀

Tiny bit of framing done today for the seat, will get a little bit done tomorrow but then back to work to pay for it all... Also, need to buy a few bits like power source, diesel heater etc so I know what space I have to work with under the seat!

Not much progress in the van today but I do have a tidy shed at least! Covered in the side of the seat which was pleasingly the exact width of the pallet slats (obviously planned...) and made a seat back which will be unseen when covered in foam but I had spare carpet so covered it to blend it in anyway.

Made a start on planning where the seat will go, using my trademark wood and pallets. Even found a fire extinguisher to match the colour scheme 😀 and it's also an insurance requirement.

Trimmed in around the step, edged it and then covered the bulkhead in red carpet. Decided to leave the bulkhead in on this van but with the cut out for some light, and just in case we have rear passengers! Given i spend most of the time driving its easier to heat the cab than the whole van in winter!

Second window going in and carpeted panel fitted, carpet up to the window on this side to cover holes in the metal work.

A little progress this week, bit more carpetting and some flooring, the van's in the garage tomorrow so nothing else will get done until next week now.
