Over the last two weekends, we’ve been celebrating our incredible junior players at their respective end-of-season presentations 🏉💙🩷
Our younger age groups, U7s–U10s, gathered at the club on Sunday afternoon alongside their families for a fantastic celebration, while our U11s–U16s and Girls teams enjoyed a brilliant two-course awards evening on the Friday of the previous week.
As always, it was an emotional farewell to our amazing Under 16s team as they now progress into Colts rugby next season. We wish every one of you the very best and can’t wait to see you representing the club on Saturday afternoons next season!
This season also marked a hugely exciting milestone for Tiverton RFC as we welcomed our Girls teams for the very first time. It has been fantastic to see girls proudly representing the club, and we are incredibly excited to watch these teams continue to grow and progress next season and beyond. A very special thank you goes to their coach — and Tiverton senior rugby legend — Reggie Gilbert, for forging a path for girls rugby here at TRFC 💙
As a club, we cannot express enough just how proud we are of every single one of our junior players — your dedication, sportsmanship, teamwork and commitment throughout the season have been outstanding.
A huge thank you must also go to all the parents, carers and families who tirelessly get players to and from training and match days in every kind of weather, and who wash muddy kits week in, week out all season long — we truly appreciate everything you do!
Of course, every team needs great coaches, and there is no doubt that Tiverton RFC has THE BEST. Many of our coaches still proudly pull on the shirt for senior rugby too, and we simply cannot thank you enough for the time, energy and passion you give to your teams throughout the season.
Finally, thank you to all the volunteers who helped organise both presentation events. It takes a huge team effort behind the scenes, and it’s moments like these that remind us why we really do have the best rugby club around!
