Unfortunately Barnstaple are now unable to play us tomorrow night due to injuries at the weekend. As such there is now no game at the club .

We hope to confirm a new pre season friendly in due course .

🏉 RUGBY IS BACK! 💙

After a long (and very dry!) summer, rugby returns to Tiverton Rugby Club tomorrow on Coronation Field! Thankfully, the rain finally arrived in time to put some life back into the pitch. 🌧️🌱

And what better way to kick off the new season than with the first game for our 2026/27 Colts!

This new-look squad is largely made up of last season’s U16s, joined by a handful of returning second-year Colts who bring valuable experience to the team 💪

Their first challenge? Local rivals South Molton Rugby Club! 🔥

💙Update to the start of the competitive community rugby season 2026 / 2027💙

After careful consideration and extensive consultation with clubs across England, the RFU have decided to delay the start of the competitive community game season until week commencing Monday 21st September. We appreciate this will be disappointing news to players & volunteers who have been busy getting ready for and looking forward to the new season but there are a range of factors that have been considered before making the decision, not least the absence of any significant rain on the pitches.
*Age grade matches due to take place before 21st September have been postponed
*Some friendly matches may go ahead where possible if local pitches and conditions allow
*Training can continue but on the understanding pitch safety is assessed before every session
