FIRST TEAM LADIES SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT 2026/27🤍❤️ our first team look forward to a new league, new management and some new additions to the squad this season. Read what our manager has to say🤍❤️

I’m delighted to announce our Ladies First Team squad for the 2026/27 season.

Every player named has thoroughly earned their place. Their commitment, attitude, performances and work ethic throughout pre-season, as well as over the previous seasons, have been exceptional. This group has built a strong mentality, great togetherness and a real desire to keep improving, and I couldn’t be prouder of the standards they have set.

We also welcome a number of new additions this season, and I’m excited to see the qualities and impact they can bring to an already strong squad. We now have genuine depth and competition for places across the team, which can only benefit us as we move forward.

I also want to recognise the fantastic work of Bec with the Reserves and Paul with the Under-16s. Their dedication to developing players has played a huge part in allowing us to bring players through our pathway and into the First Team squad.

It’s equally exciting that we have a number of players within both the Reserves and Under-16s who are already on the radar of the First Team management. We’ll be keeping a close eye on their progress and hope to see more players make that step into the First Team in the future. Seeing players develop, push themselves and progress through the club towards First Team football is exactly what we want our pathway to achieve.

A huge amount of credit goes to every player, coach and everyone behind the scenes who has contributed to getting us to this point.

We now face our biggest challenge yet as we enter Division One for the first time. We know the standard will be higher, but so are our ambitions.

I’m incredibly excited to see what this group can achieve together.

OUR GRESLEY ROVERS LADIES RESERVES TEAM 2026/27!🤍❤️ we are excited to announce our reserves squad for this season,with a few words from the manager herself. We are so ready!

Pre-season has been a really positive one for the Reserves, and I couldn’t be prouder of the commitment, attitude and effort the ladies have shown throughout.

They have worked incredibly hard in training and in our pre-season friendlies, continually pushing themselves and each other to improve. We’ve seen players step outside their comfort zones, be flexible and try new positions, and in doing so we’ve seen some real growth and development in individuals.

We’ve also seen strength and improvement within our units, with players beginning to understand each other’s roles, movements and strengths even more. Most importantly, we’ve continued to grow as a group.

One of the things we are particularly proud of this season is the pathway we have within the club. We have welcomed players into the Reserves from last season’s U16s, giving them the opportunity to make the step into senior women’s football. At the same time, we have already had players from our Reserves progress into the First Team, which is something we are incredibly proud of.

We also have a handful of Reserves players who have been approached by First Team management and may make appearances for the First Team throughout the season. We are incredibly proud of every player who gets that opportunity. Seeing players develop, challenge themselves and earn opportunities at the next level is exactly what we want to see, and it’s something the whole Reserves group can be proud of.

I honestly didn’t think this team could feel any closer than it already did, but somehow they’ve managed to do exactly that. The togetherness, support and belief within this group is something really special, and it will be a huge part of what we take into the season.

There is still plenty for us to work on, and we know the season will bring its challenges, but we go into it knowing how hard we’ve worked to prepare ourselves. Every player has played their part in getting us to this point.

We’ve shown that we can adapt, compete, support one another and continue to improve. Now it’s time to take everything we’ve worked on into competitive football, continue to learn, continue to develop and, most importantly, enjoy playing together.
