The Midland Club National on Saturday and what a turnout! This was a huge event and it was great to see so many of our Arrows racing on their home slope! Alongside our seasoned skiers, ⛷️ we also had a few new members dipping their skis in the water, or should I say sprinklers πŸ’¦ for their first ever race! And although the weather was wet, this didn’t dampen the mood as the atmosphere was buzzing around the center. Thank you to for hosting a fantastic event and congratulations to all our Arrows for taking part and giving it πŸ’― %. Big shout out to Hackett and Andre for their podium places πŸ₯‰ πŸ₯‰ πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

On Saturday we saw the Arrows competing at in the Norfolk Club National. It was a day filled with fast ⛷️ racing and finished with some fun games, thanks to the .dryslope.ambassadors . James made his debut and completed 3 fantastic runs, making big gains with each run! Congratulations James! It’s fair to say he was very pleased with his results! 😁 Arran felt some frustration today, however managed to get a great final run in, taking over 1.5 seconds off and which unfortunately we only managed to film the end! Well done Arran! Finally, Hackett managed to secure his way back on the podium, picking up a πŸ₯‡ πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ‘πŸΌ. Ski racing is not always about winning, it is about the family and community we create and the friendships we make along the way. Thank you again to Coach for all his support and to for hosting a fantastic event!

Wow, what a fantastic few days for our Arrows with . The sun β˜€οΈ came out, the sprinklers switched on and the skiers got sweaty!πŸ₯΅ On Tuesday there was a guest appearance from the Team GB and Winter Olympian who spent the day giving advice and feedback to all the racers, he even selected one of our Arrows as his Skier of the day! Congratulations .ski and thank you you were fantastic. So finally, we would like to say a big thank you to for not only delivering a fun filled ski camp on the hottest Bank holiday ever, but also keeping the youngsters safe, ski ⛷️ spirits high and fully hydrated, because it was pretty πŸ₯΅ wearing gloves and helmets in 30 + degrees

Sunday brought 2 more challenging GBR courses on the already extremely challenging slope! Unfortunately, today was not to be Hacketts day, and after a fall on his 1st run, he flew out of the start gate on his 2nd run, all skis blazing! ⛷️ πŸ”₯ However, even with a ton of ambition and an incredible amount of speed, comes the danger of misjudgment and this was to be the end of his 2nd run. Hackett has loved his first experience on The Hill and has gone home elated, with 1 πŸ₯‰ medal up and innumerable lessons learnt, already eager to return again soon!

The 2nd race in the .uk and Hacketts first time skiing such an epic dry slope! What an experience and what an achievement to make the podium against so many great local skiers! He led the pack again with his first fastest run and unfortunately skied out on his 2nd run. Still, it was a great result with aπŸ₯‰place podium which he shared with his new friends! They even came up with a synchronised celebratory spinning decent that we unfortunately did not catch on video! We will return tomorrow to race again for number 3!
